Joy baskets

Thought i would list today, being a particularly fine morning to write all the things one should be thankful for, and also keeping things in one joyful basket, should at any time i feel the impulse to gag at my unending basket of gag reflex job...

1. No traffic jams today on the long drive, a consistently useful thing

2. I get to see my son and wife today before work, something that doesn't happen as often as it should, although, as it often does, its heartbreaking to wave goodbye to them every morning

3. Sitting here with my coffee and croissants, wishing all days would be spent just like this, in a coffee shop where thoughts can percolate and simmer before without constant white noise...
