Things I learned in 2015

when you think you already figured it out. another comes to take its place.
I'm not saying that it does so frequently. but it does in 2015

each year there are things that stay the same. there are things that are evolving. Then there are revolutionary items.

Unfortunately, I came away from 2015 with a lot less appreciation for people's good faith, and more with how to balance your expectation.
its an unspoken agreement that people will at some point let you down, and hard. they will promise to attend meetings and never show up. Promise to do things, and does not, and promise to deliver, but never do. Say one thing, does another, and so on and so forth

And frequently Wilson is asked to step up to the plate, and bring justice to injustice. Stand up for what you believe, wrong the right, be a beacon of hope.

But Wilson, well, hes just a ball. He rolls around. He's no brick wall. you're asking wayy to much of his ability. he'll hit the corners, for sure, and he'll always bounce back eventually, but, eternally, he wants peace and quiet and the freedom to roll around where he may. and have faith in the people who kick him around. That faith is now replaced with Preparation. Be prepared for people to kick you to thorny bushes. and be prepared to get out of it yourself.

so, the key word for 2015 is, Vigilance. Watch your back. and Prepare to be Disappointed.

unfortunately, not the best way to describe the year. its not a bad thing. It means I'm growing up.
